Mizner Country Club Shows Appreciation For First Responders

DELRAY BEACH, Fla. - Oct. 28, 2019 - PRLog -- The Palm Beach County First Responders were recognized for their tireless service to the community last Sunday in a special event hosted by Mizner County Club.  Members of the Palm Beach County's Emergency Medical Services, Police and Fire Department were invited to play a round of golf and partake in a special tribute luncheon.

"We were honored to welcome Palm Beach County Sheriff Ric Bradshaw and members of the various first responder teams that serve our community on a daily basis. It was heartening to see the overwhelming participation of the Mizner community, who came out to show their appreciation and say thanks to this group," said Mizner Country Club's General Manager and Chief Operating Officer, Larry Savvides.

The day also included tours of the latest fire engine and SWAT vehicle, as well as visits from mounted police horses and the K-9 unit.

This is the third year of the First Responders Tribute Event at Mizner Country Club.
