The family-friendly event, based on the 2005 book that quickly became a national sensation and Christmas tradition, rounds out a list 55 events and activities. Dress in your holiday best for Elf on the Shelf, offered for the first time by Beaumont Inn (https://beaumontinn.com/)
on Sunday afternoon, Dec. 8. Guests will be greeted by a live Elf on the Shelf, who will read the book, Elf on the Shelf
, in an Elf-inspired atmosphere that includes holiday themed tables topped with elves.
Sip hot chocolate; enjoy mini kid-friendly sandwiches, adult food treats and holiday-inspired desserts; and help decorate the tree in the inn's Main Dining Room. Attendees will receive a 15 percent discount in the Beaumont Inn Gift Shop the day of the event. Reservations required: 859-734-3381. presents the wildly popular "Disney's Frozen Jr." on Nov. 15-17 and Nov. 22-24, followed by perennial holiday favorite, "A Christmas Carol," on Dec. 7 and 8.
Twilight Parade takes place at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 6. Afterward, drive through the Christmas Lights of Bondville Display, featuring antique lights with a modern twist.
