Follow on Google News | The Hyundai Grand i10 Nios is now up for grabs, starting at an introductory price of Rs. 4.99 lakhThe Grand i10 Nios is the Korean automaker's answer to the Maruti Suzuki Swift. Prices range from Rs. 4.99 lakh to Rs. 7.99 lakh (ex-showroom).
By: autoX Compared to the Grand i10, the stark difference with the Nios lies in the face. The top-end Asta variant now sports a pair of projector headlamps and projector fog lamps. The DRLs are now shifted to either end of the massive cascading grille. But the visual differences become less evident as you move away from the front. Sure, the 15-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels look fresh and new. But the shoulder line largely reminds of its predecessor. The rear looks almost like an amalgamation between the Grand i10 and Tata Tiago. But it's the interior that really looks a generation ahead of its predecessor. The 8.0-inch touchscreen is mounted on top of the dashboard and the air-con vents are shifted towards the central tunnel. The seats are also all-new, and as expected, are more comfortable and supportive than its predecessor. Interior space is also a generation ahead of the Grand i10, as not only it trumps the Swift in terms of rear bench space, it's even roomier than the i20. In terms of features, the top-end Asta variant comes equipped with Arkamys sound system, wireless phone charging, push-button start, cooled glovebox, and a reverse parking camera. Mechanically, the Nios remains to be powered by the same set of engines. At autoX, we strive to deliver the latest automotive news and reviews before a car makes its way in the Indian market.
