Readers' poll winners are designated as People's Choice and staff selections as Barrister's Choice.  Law Week's annual list is compiled, with input from the publication's readers, to help identify the most prominent, highest performing and well established lawyers in each practice area.

Otteson was named Barrister's Best People's Choice 2019 for "Best Banking Lawyer," the fourth consecutive year that he has been recognized.

Shapiro was named Barrister's Best People's Choice for "Best Insurance Lawyer for Plaintiffs." He was previously recognized in the same category in 2016 and 2018.
