-- The 20th anniversary production of the sketch comedy "La-La-Ween"
will be Friday, Oct. 25 at 8 p.m. at The 11:11, 1107 N. Kings Road in West Hollywood.
The show features The Movement, Los Angeles's premiere "postwacky" comedy troupe, and actor Anna Scottlin, an L.A.-based author, life management coach and actor. Scottlin is lead actor in the upcoming international feature "Silent Cry" and won Best of Bernal Festival Award with the cast of the film "Recipe for Love." David Stamford is La-La-Ween's writer and director.
Billed as "so funny, it's scary," the comedy for all ages includes sketches called "the hair club for wolfmen" and "the bridal shower of Frankenstein."
Scottlin's roles in the show range from an associate of Frankenstein to a young mother attempting to navigate the labyrinth of Halloween political correctness in Los Angeles.
Tickets are $15 and can be purchased at the door. For more information, visit the event website at https://annescottlin.wixsite.com/
