Private Nashville College Launches Publishing Division, First Book by Local Author
Book Launch Party in Nashville November 5th, Open to the Public
By: Wiliamson College
The launch party will include hors d'oeuvres and beverages, a string quartet from the Nashville Praise Symphony, and copies of Torahism on sale at a discount. Speakers include Williamson College President, Edward M. Smith Ph.D. and author R. L. Solberg, who will share the story behind the making of the book, read from it, and host a brief Q&A session. There will also be a raffle for a free book and other prizes.
"We chose Torahism as our first book because it's an important topic and an academically robust work, yet it's very accessible,"
The book, Solberg's first, is a work of Christian Apologetics, the branch of study that defends Christianity against philosophical and theological attack. It is enjoying a pre-launch buzz, having been described by early reviewers as "a masterful work", "impressively written and researched", and "an apologetic in the best tradition of Christian scholarship."
