Singaporean Chef is a finalist in Spain's National Tapas Competition in Valladolid, Spain

The Valladolid Tapas Competition gets more than 500 entries from the best Chefs all over Spain embracing the Spanish tradition of the tapas or beautiful food in a mouthful, and Kriss Ariana is one of the finalists with a vegan tapas that represents Spain with Asian touches based on beet.

The mixture of Asian and Spanish flavors is one of the trademarks of Kriss Ariana. A deep understanding of flavours from both continents and the different cooking techniques / styles combined elevating each other.

This is a pure vegan tapas, a trend in the culinary world at the moment. The tapas is called "La Dolores", mixing the Asian sweet and sour with the Spanish classic food ingredients. This tapas has been created to commemorate the 200 anniversary of the birth of the famous "La Dolores" from Calatayud, Spain. The life of "La Dolores" can be found in many theater plays, Operas and traditional Spanish folk songs.
