Calgary - Local costume, makeup, and special FX store, Don's Hobby Shop, is excited to announce its 70^th Birthday Party and Midnight Sale on Saturday October 19, 2019.

The party will be held at Don's Hobby Shop – 1515 Centre St North

7:00pm to Midnight

Scott Bennie, owner of Don's Hobby Shop since 2003, is thrilled to celebrate this milestone.

"It's really exciting to be part of a piece of history in Calgary.  I wonder if Don Spicer thought when he opened up shop downtown in 1949 that his legacy would live on 70 years later."

"We hear customers tell us all the time that they used to spend their paper route money at Don's back in the 60's and 70's," said Bennie. "We're looking forward to seeing some familiar faces on Saturday night.  It's going to be fun reminiscing with some of our loyal customers that have supported us over the years"

Don's Hobby Shop will have refreshments, treats and all kinds of great deals on Halloween related products.  There will be draws, prizes and the deepest discounts happening later in the evening.
