DUXBURY, Mass. - Oct. 15, 2019 - PRLog -- VERC Enterprises, a leading convenience store and Mobil/Gulf gasoline operator with locations throughout Eastern and Central Massachusetts and New Hampshire, has been named to Boston Business Journal's Book of Lists as one of the region's largest family owned businesses.
Published in a recent edition of the Boston Business Journal, the lists provide a unique source to track the progress of local sectors and the key companies within them.
VERC Enterprises, ranked 15th on the Book of Lists, had its beginnings over 40 years ago with a single car wash in Marshfield; today it employs more than 330 company-wide. VERC Enterprises is widely recognized for being a leader in hiring those with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities. Last year the company was ranked 16th out of the top 25 family owned businesses in the state.
