By: Honor Thy Father, Inc Stone Mountain, GA 10/16/2019 – A Free Workshop is being held for the third consecutive year for Single Parents in Metropolitan Atlanta by a DeKalb County-based Non-Profit, Honor Thy Father, Inc. with the theme "Your Life Matters" on November 9th, 2019. The workshop educates and equips Single Parents throughout Metro Atlanta with tools and techniques that will assist them in improving their quality of life by adding valuable life skills to their lives and that of their children. During the last two years, the Workshop covered Strategies of Co-parenting, What's in your hand? (Finance) Building your village and Financial Planning and Stability. This year we are providing new critical coverage such as "Building your confidence and facing your fears, love in the absence of a father, Emotional Intelligence, Domestic Violence, and S.H.E in you. Our Workshop is FREE and is open to all Single Parents in DeKalb, Fulton, Henry, Rockdale, and Gwinnett counties. Participants and their families will receive special gift packages for Thanksgiving. As a Non-Profit organization without grants, Honor Thy Father, Inc. is grateful for the support of corporations and small businesses in helping to underwrite this important event and for providing holiday gift packages for our workshop participants.
