International Recording Artist Launches Music Business Workshops Designed To Help Creatives Shift Their Business Model From Surviving To ThrivingInternational recording artist and entrepreneuress, Latoya Cooper "The Songstress", launches a 2020 quarterly workshop series designed to support the budding careers of ambitious recording artists after she discovered a major void within the music industry.
By: Music Meets The Boardroom After personally experiencing the common issues many recording artists face, Latoya decided to create Music Meets The Boardroom: an organization focused on helping Ambitious Artists find purpose, self-empowerment, and strategies to execute God's Vision for their gift. Latoya and her team execute this vision by educating Artists through affordable courses, workshops, and consulting services. Music Meets The Boardroom was created to empower the Indie Artist to develop budget savvy practices and a strong business foundation. "I am passionate about creating a platform for Ambitious Artists to learn from each other and from successful creatives in the music industry who have walked the journey many are seeking. It is hard being an artist, if I can create a platform for artists to glean from others successes, failures and hopefully give them a step up in their journey, then I have done my job!" Latoya Cooper "The Songstress"— known for her smooth soprano vocals and dynamic onstage presence — was inspired to create Music Meets The Boardroom after artists and musicians began inquiring about her own business practices. Latoya brings a unique element to the music industry. She holds a Master's Degree in Business Management and has spent the past decade kicking-butt in the project management space. She maximizes the skills she's learned in the business world and beautifully marries it with her undying passion to see the everyday artist thrive. She partners with industry experts and uses her extensive know-how to guide Ambitious Artists through the launch and execution phase of their music career, ultimately shifting their business model from surviving to thriving. Latoya admits, "there was an advantage to getting an MBA, it allowed me to understand the business aspect of my true passion: Music. I am now helping other Creatives fall in love with the business side of their craft". The full day workshops are currently offered only in the Dallas - Fort Worth area, but open to partnership opportunities outside the DFW area. Hotel accommodations are available for those traveling from other states and countries wishing to be apart of the Music Meets The Boardroom's 2020 workshops. Full 2020 Workshop Series Schedule Below:
