Local Paver Cleaning Company Drawing Attention to Breast Cancer and Requesting Support
Paver Protectors, Inc. of Fort Myers, Florida is participating in Breast Cancer Awareness month by wearing pink shirts throughout October and requesting locals to donate to the Cancer Research Institute.
"Both my grandfathers died of cancer and I've had two close friends whose wives had breast cancer," said Evers. "One unfortunately passed away but the other (who was diagnosed last year with the disease) is a survivor. We want to see more survivors which is why we're doing this."
Now through Thursday, October 31st, customers of Paver Protectors will get the same friendly service with a slight twist. Each technician will be donned in pink shirts with the familiar ribbon, signifying breast cancer awareness.
"This disease hits close to our heart," said Larry Harris, operations manager, Paver Protectors. "So many of us have lost loved ones or have battled through the treatment process. We just want to raise awareness and do our part to help those in our community who are suffering."
To help find a cure, friends of Paver Protectors are encouraged to donate to the Cancer Research Institute at https://www.cancerresearch.org/
