Wizard World Teams With Books for Bedtime On Book Donation Program In Columbus, October 18-20

Attendees at Wizard World Columbus (Oct. 18-20) can donate child-appropriate graphic novels, comics, science fiction books, or any other similar reading materials during the event.

COLUMBUS, Ohio - Oct. 7, 2019 - PRLog -- Wizard World is proud to team with Books for Bedtime, whose goal is to give as many books as possible, to as many children as possible, in as many places as possible. Wizard World is asking fans to bring child-appropriate comics, graphic novels, science fiction books, or any other similar materials to Wizard World Columbus, October 18-20 at Greater Columbus Convention Center and leave them in a specially marked donation receptacle near the Special Guest Registration desk.

As a Thank You, fans who donate two or more items to Books for Bedtime during Wizard World Columbus will receive a free pre-autographed celebrity photo from a selection of previous Wizard World guests. These photographs are available to fans on a first-come, first-served basis while supply lasts, one per family donation per day, at the full discretion of Wizard World.

"Smallville" stars Tom Welling ("Clark Kent"), Michael Rosenbaum ("Lex Luthor") and Laura Vandervoort ("Kara"), The Princess Bride standouts Cary Elwes ("Westley), Wallace Shawn ("Vizzini") and Chris Sarandon ("Prince Humperdinck"), Henry Winkler ("Happy Days," "Barry"), Ken Page (The Nightmare Before Christmas), Samm Levine ("Freaks and Geeks," Inglourious Basterds) and Thomas Ian Nicholas (Rookie of the Year, American Pie) are among the celebrities scheduled to attend Wizard World Columbus, set for October 18-20 at Greater Columbus Convention Center.

The event marks Wizard World's ninth visit to Columbus. The event will feature an outstanding array of programming, cosplay contests, gaming and more, plus live entertainment on the main stage, hosted by master of ceremonies Kato Kaelin.

Wizard World events bring together thousands of fans of all ages to celebrate the best in pop culture: movies, television, gaming, live entertainment, comics, sci-fi, graphic novels, toys, original art, collectibles, contests and more. The 11th event scheduled on the 2019 Wizard World calendar, Columbus show hours are Friday, October 18, 4-9 p.m.; Saturday, October 19, 10 a.m.-7 p.m.; Sunday, October 20, 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Kids 10 and under are admitted free with paid adult.
