MUSE Modern & Contemporary Art Fair Returns to Miami for Miami Art Week-Women Artists Featured

MIAMI - Oct. 4, 2019 - PRLog -- "We've been working very closely throughout the year with Bahamian Division of Cultural Affairs to bring outstanding Bahamian Artists to South Beach for MUSE. With the recent devastation to two Bahamian Islands, this year's MUSE will be dedicated to promoting the art from the region, including a special opening night reception with proceeds going to aid those hit by Hurricane Dorian," said MUSE Fair Creator Que Simmons.

We're happy that through MUSE we will be in a position to give back to those who have been impacted by the storm," Simmons added.  "We're inviting everyone to come out and enjoy the fair,  support the artists, and contribute to the rebuilding efforts."

MUSE 2019 will feature an eclectic mix of paintings, ceramics, photographs, sculptures and augmented reality art from women artists.  The fair, will be held at their new location, Gates Hotel, 2360 Collins Avenue, with more than 2,000 square feet dedicated to promoting and exhibiting work for this very special edition of MUSE.

The exhibition kicks off at 6pm, Tuesday, December 3, 2019 with a VIP and Media opening reception, and will be open to the public daily 11-am to 8pm, December 4 through December 8, 2019 and at 5pm on December 8th.

MUSE was founded by Que Simmons in to promote art collecting, inclusivity/diversity  of women, artists of color as well as support non-profit organizations that work with artists and the creative arts community.  Simmons brought the first diverse art fair to midtown at LMNT Gallery and is responsible for curating the first ever Art Exhibition at KROMA Gallery in Coconut Grove, which was held during Miami Art Week.
