See Who's Creating Waves At This Miami Eco-Design Challenge and Relief Event

MIAMI BEACH, Fla. - Oct. 3, 2019 - PRLog -- The One Club Miami has partnered with the Miami Surfriders to host Creatives at the Beach. Saturday, October 5, 2019, from 4 PM - 7 PM at Miami Beach Urban Studios (1618 Washington Ave) will be another day in paradise but with a twist — The Cube Awards. At the same time, give back as half of all proceeds will go towards The Bahamas relief efforts via The One Eleuthera Foundation.

Inspired and conscious of our surroundings, we are hosting a competition to create the next viral campaign for environmental awareness (with a truly unique prize for the winners!).

The contestants are teams of 2 to 4 people who will be given a brief on the spot with materials and their surroundings to serve as inspiration to produce a campaign. The judges, an exceptional group of leaders in the industry, will be watching our social channels live to make a decision on the winner.

The Surfrider Foundation is a non-profit grassroots organization dedicated to the protection and enjoyment of our world's oceans, waves, and beaches with several important programs:

• Protecting water quality in local waterways and reducing pollution.
• Restoring the critical and very fragile coastal dune habitat in South Florida.
• Collecting cigarette butts on the beaches of Miami and recycling them.
• Reducing the impacts of plastics in the marine environment.
• Campaigns in favor of protecting the ocean such as 'Offshore Drilling is Killing'

This is in line with an event such as Creatives at the Beach, where communities gather in the spirit of their passions.

The One Club for Creativity exists to support and celebrate the success of the global creative community who believe creativity is the most powerful element to business success.

In 2018, the Miami chapter was kicked off by Albena Petrus and the visual artist Marco Caridad Valera (https://marcocaridad.com/) to a rocket-start with premier events and panels that partnered some of the biggest advertising, marketing, and event agencies around like Zubi, Alma, Sapient, The Community, Nobox, Team Enterprises, Redline Media Group, Florida International University and the Miami Ad School.

With Miami emerging as a tech hub and its long-standing place as financial and arts hub, a One Club for Creativity chapter for the city was ripe for the taking.

The One Club for Creativity always gives greatness its proper due. The Sustainable Cube Award made by visual artist Rafael Vera will be awarded to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners.
