Ray Strickland Foundation 2nd Annual Fundraiser Coming Sunday October 13

PHILADELPHIA - Oct. 2, 2019 - PRLog -- Get ready to head on out and support an awesome cause next week, the 2nd Annual Ray Strickland Foundation Fundraiser, with special guest appearance by Grammy Award Winner, Jahlil Beats.

The event takes place on Sunday October 13th from 4-8pm, at Catch 202 Bar & Restaurant in Wilmington DE. Tickets are $10 and include 1 Well Drink with Purchase. There will be raffles for merchandise and Flat Screen TV.  Proceeds will benefit Chester High School Football Team and CHS C/O 2000.

Ray Strickland rose from the poverty-stricken streets of Chester to become an All-American and pro-basketballer. After his professional basketball career, he earned a Master's Degree in Counseling from Wilmington University. It is Strickland's mission to pay-it-forward with children in the community plagued with the same obstacles he once faced and overcame. The mission for his foundation is to Empower Today's Youth Through Education.

Special guest, Chester's own Jahlil Beats, is currently signed to Jay Z's Roc Nation. Known for producing Meek Mill's "Ima Boss" and "Burn", along with Lloyd Banks' "Jackpot, he has additionally produced for artists including Jay-Z, Diddy, Lil Wayne, Fabolous, Meek Mill, Chris Brown, Tyga, Rick Ross, Ace Hood, Bobby Shmurda, T.I., Don Trip, and 50 Cent.

Catch 202 bar & restaurant is owned by another former pro-basketballer & friend, Anwar Coleman, likewise looking to uplift our youth.
