MEDIA ADVISORY: Women Veterans Caregiver Retreat Day

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - Sept. 25, 2019 - PRLog -- Who: One Life to Live Foundation, Corp.

What: Selected women caregivers/spouses of veterans will enjoy a day of meditation, breathing and mindfulness techniques, and education on self-care.
Choice of a massage, anti-aging facial or body scrub, lunch, and smart/quick makeover extravaganza demonstration.

When: September 30, 2019, from 9 AM - 1:30 PM

Why: The organization's goal is to raise awareness about women veterans and to support women caregivers/spouses of wounded warriors. By providing a day of respite and retreat to help refocus on their individual needs. To learn about self-care and gain a better understanding of what our body requires for maintaining a healthy lifestyle is just what caregivers and women veterans need.

One Life to Live Foundation, 501(3)C non-profit organization founded in 2019 by Daphnee Uter, Pamela Black, Yolanda Brown and Arie Lewis. Four Women Veterans, realized that most Women Veterans were underserved and caregivers, in general, tend to neglect themselves as they care for others. Understanding the unique needs of Veterans and their caregivers, the Founders decided they needed to be a source of support for positive change among this demographic.
