de orchid'ee | Poetryby Jodde Maree

BRUSSELS - Sept. 20, 2019 - PRLog -- Jodde Maree has been writing short stories, poems and lyrics since the age of thirteen. Due to traumatic circumstances she did not have the time to fully focus on writing until, about two months before the publication of this book, when she decided that the time had come for her to express herself through poetry, stories and lyrics writing. A publishing contract offered by Paramount Music was declined as the company requested all copyrights, and Jodde Maree decided to get herself published through an independent publisher.

***

I fear not days before me or a gallant rush of pounding sea
My skin falls lightly upon pillows of cloudy rain
I'm taken by all life's inherent beauty
I shall not scream or cry into catacombs of dark despair
Gently I whisper upon calm scenes of moving tides
Love is a guardian of my soul

Bell Hope

What words can I say to convince you go running!
Go as far as high as you need too!
Don't suggest hope as a language to anyone!
Mindful hours are thirsty for respect –
Likable people always get the blues
Opulent bells chiming lines why don't pay tributes to God!
Illegitimate white elephants only speak in holes!
Did you know there's no one down there!
They stopped laying cable and started looking up!
Square chains bare skin –
Let me look at you –
Cellophane butterflies won't build cocoons?
Don't call again  -
Your lies are busy bell!
