TORONTO - Sept. 17, 2019 - PRLog -- Pastor David Lynn was arrested and charged for "Disturbing the Peace" on June 4, 2019, for saying, "God love's you" during an organized church outreach covering all 22 Districts of Toronto. He was sharing his message of God's love on the busy city intersection of Church & Wellesley where some members of the LGBT also live.  The crown attorney in this case is refusing to drop the charges.  The entire unedited live stream of the injustice was streamed via YouTube and can be found on and  David Lynn, a 6th generation Canadian was simply exercising his right to Freedom of Speech.

Unfortunately, in North America, there are groups and organizations that want to make Freedom of Speech illegal Christians.  In the downtown core of Toronto, as well as the Church and Wellesley district, there are demonstrations, expressions, and protests daily.  On September 6, 2019, activist groups from the "519" Church and Wellesley City of Toronto funded community center, with Amplified voices demonstrated, protested, and blocked the entrances of the opening of the first Chick-Fil-A restaurant in Toronto, a Christian owned restaurant franchise from the United States. While these activists were spewing hate filled rhetoric towards the business for their religious beliefs and shaming the customers while entering, a formal complaint was made shown on video, ( they were protected by Police under the Freedom of Speech laws in Canada.  The irony is that, just months prior, Pastor David Lynn (although not blocking the sidewalk) was arrested without using an amplifier, for saying words like, "God loves you", "There is hope for all people", "we accept and tolerate you".  This is nothing short of religious discrimination and a violation of his Freedom of Speech. David Lynn was not inciting violence to anyone and neither was he being defamatory. In the statement after his release, Pastor Lynn said, "Every community in Toronto should have the same laws, and everyone should be welcome. Everyone should have rights, dignity, and respect, including Christians."

Christians and all who support Freedom of Speech in Canada are urged to come together at the Prayer Rally for Freedom of Speech on Saturday September 28th, 2019 @ 12pm. We must understand the importance of this Freedom of Speech Rally and Event. The David Lynn arrest was a gross violation of Human and Civil Rights, and it shows what our Country could look like in the future if we don't voice our concerns.
