Boris and the Bomb, Starring Faran Tahir (Ironman), Premieres at Valley Film Festival
By: Boris and the Bomb
When Executive Producers Kronmiller and McLean met at Stuart Rogers Studios in 2005; they had no idea life would lead them right back to the beginning as they Premiere their first feature film "Boris and the Bomb" at the Valley Film Festival across the street from where they met in North Hollywood. "Especially since the NoHo Laemmle didn't exist yet " quips McLean.
"I went into that class looking for a director and collaborator and found all that and the love of my life", says McLean. According to Kronmiller, he first realized he wanted to marry McLean after she did her first monologue in class. One day he decided to stop being shy, sat down and looked in her eyes "And I was home." The two began producing almost as soon as they started dating. Producing several plays, short films and even a child. (The pair married in 2007)
No stranger to story telling, McLean graduated from San Diego State University with a degree in Theatre and Kronmiller attended the prestigious University of Southern California School of Cinematic Arts' Production Program alongside classmates like Rian Johnson & Kevin Feige. "I'm excited to share our movie with an audience, now mind you we didn't have the same budget as a Star Wars or Marvel movie but we had the same passion and attention to story - and even a few of the actors who worked on those projects. I think folks will dig our crazy nuclear fairy tale" says Kronmiller, who's work has also been seen on CNN.
So what is the secret that allows them to have successful creative partnership and marriage? McLean: "We do what we have to do to make it work and then remember that we love each other and everything else is gravy."
Boris and the Bomb Screens for the Valley Film Festival at the NoHo Laemmle 7 Friday September 27th at 2:30pm.
