Intracoastal Construction's Robbie Richmond Named Florida Certified Master Builder
By: Intracoastal Construction
To earn this designation, a contractor must hold a state of Florida contractor's license and adhere to the stringent Florida Building Code. They also must receive 14 hours of continuing education every two years in order to maintain this license.
The state of Florida has a rigorous standard for contractors, but it is not enough to stand out amongst the competition. Florida Certified Master Builders are elite home builders and commercial contractors who are dedicated to excellence in building and ensure client satisfaction. The builders who request certification hold themselves to a higher standard than required by the State of Florida for licensure.
Florida Certified Master Builders must meet strict requirements and demonstrate a proven track record of building expertise, business stability, integrity and exceptional customer service. Their education, design and product research requirements keep them in tune with the latest building practices and design trends.
Robbie has served local custom home building clients for decades. He holds a residential commercial license for homes up to three levels and a commercial general contractor's license for custom multi-level designs on piling or exceeding 3 stories.
Robbie also bears the title of a Certified Green Professional through the National Home Builders Association. He is a staunch supporter of the Flagler County Builder's Association and has served on the board for over 13 years. He has broken the record for the most recruits to the association in the nation by recruiting 189 business owners. His peers have elected him twice to be the president. Additionally, he has been designated as a "Lifetime Director" for the FHBA. This designation has been given to less than 10 people in the FHBA's 32-year history.
Many of Robbie's clients live out of state and they have put their trust in Robbie's ability to meticulously design and build their home in Flagler, St. Johns or Volusia County. Speaking to his experience, homebuilders and commercial contractors living outside the state of Florida have used Robbie's expertise to build their own Flagler County homes.
Robbie is firmly and proudly committed to project details, the fit and finish of each design, and to treating each client with utmost respect and appreciation. He and the entire organization provides the best in hands-on personalized service and client care.
