Metro Atlanta Non-Profit organization holding 3rd Annual Workshop to equip Single Parents

STONE MOUNTAIN, Ga. - Sept. 16, 2019 - PRLog -- Metro Atlanta Non-Profit holding 3^rd Annual Workshop to equip Single Parents with life advancement skills

Stone Mountain, GA 9/16/2019 – A Metropolitan Atlanta, DeKalb County-based Non-Profit, Honor Thy Father, Inc. is hosting the Third Annual "Your Life Matters" Workshop, A Single Parent Forum on November 9^th, 2019.

The workshop educates and equips Single Parents throughout Metro Atlanta with tools and techniques that will assist them to improve their quality of life by adding valuable life skills to their lives and that of their children.  During the last two years, the Workshop covered Strategies of Co-parenting, What's in your hand? (Finance), Building your village and Financial Planning and Stability.  This year we are providing new critical coverage such as "Building your confidence and facing your fears, love in the absence of a father, Emotional Intelligence, Domestic Violence and S.H.E in you.

We are anticipating serving about 60 participants this year from DeKalb, Fulton, Henry, Rockdale, and Gwinnett counties.  We are also looking forward to serving the participants and their families and communities with special gift packages for Thanksgiving and Christmas Holidays.

As a Non-Profit organization without grants, Honor Thy Father, Inc. is appealing to corporations and small businesses for support in undertaking this important event and underwriting the costs of providing holiday gift packages for our workshop participants.

In a recent interview the Chief Executive Officer of Honor They Father, Inc.  Ms. Bertley Bernard remarked, "There is a great deal of value for Single Parents in taking a parenting class, no matter their stage of life. Any family that has ever faced a crisis can tell you that they wished that they had taken preventive measures to avoid a crisis. Making ends meet when you're single can be difficult; and if you're single with kids, you can often be faced with an even more unique challenge. Attending a single parent forum is an important, preventive measure. It is also a learning and implementation technique that prepares you before a crisis occurs thus increasing the likelihood of obtaining better results."
