SmartScan Technologies Announces ISO/IEC 17025 Accreditation

BEAUFORT, S.C. - Sept. 16, 2019 - PRLog -- SmartScan Technologies, a division of CIMTechniques, Inc., is proud to announce that the company lab has achieved ISO 17025 accreditation. ISO/IEC 17025 is an established general requirement for competence of testing and calibration undertaken by laboratories. The accreditation is third party confirmation and affirmation for the lab of adherence to high quality management systems, technical competence, and capability of producing technically valid results.

During the Spring of 2019 SmartScan Technologies lab personnel and management actively participated in the rigorous process of providing documentation and demonstrating proficiency with their calibration processes. The assessment was performed by Perry Johnson Laboratory Accreditation, Inc. (PJLA), a top accreditation service with over 15 years' experience.

SmartScan Technologies provides continuous monitoring systems to Life Science industries including hospitals, laboratories, pharmacies, clean room installations, and clean manufacturing. Common monitoring points include temperature, humidity, and differential pressure, with the ability to monitor much more. The 17025 accreditation includes electrical, mechanical, and thermodynamic processes.
