FRANKFURT, Germany - Sept. 16, 2019 - PRLog -- AKCP, established in the USA in 1981, has 38 years of experience in professional sensor management solutions for the Data Center. Earlier this year at DCW Hong Kong, AKCP successfully brought to market the world's first LoRa™ wireless monitoring system designed with specific features to meet the needs of the Data Center.

The AKCP solution is an end to end private or public wireless LoRa™ network, putting the user in total control. AKCP's world-class DCIM platform, AKCPro Server (https://www.akcp.com/products/akcpro-server/), is embedded in the gateway, eliminating the need for any cloud or subscription-based services. The system allows the end-user to choose a wireless-only implementation or a hybrid installation which includes AKCP's wired sensors with wireless sensors deployed in locations where cabling is not feasible.

At Data Center World - Frankfurt (https://www.datacentreworld.de/), AKCP will introduce the Data Center Analyzer Toolkit This industrial briefcase includes the L-DCIM LoRa™ Gateway (https://www.akcp.com/products/wireless-monitoring/l-dcim/), Wireless Differential Air Pressure Sensor, Thermal Map, Current Meter and dual Temperature with Humidity Sensor. Perform a complete Data Center audit, moving the battery-powered wireless sensors from cabinet to cabinet. Upon completion, a report is generated that contains a snapshot of the health of the Data Center.

The sensors can be installed on a permanent basis for 24/7 monitoring of individual racks. Wired or wireless versions are available to suit the individual requirements of the Data Center.

The largest cost in a Data Center is the electrical power needed to cool the cabinets. By measuring the air pressure differential and mapping the thermal characteristics of racks and enclosed isles you can reduce the energy spent on overcooling and eliminate downtime due to undercooling.
