The evening starts at 7pm with canapés and a glass of Duval-Leroy Brut Reserve in the lounge. Moving into Airds' elegant dining room for dinner, guests will sample west coast gastronomy at its finest accompanied by sparkling examples of Duval-Leroy's production.
The house of Duval-Leroy, a partnership between wine trader Edouard Leroy and grape-grower Jules Duval founded in 1859, produces vintage and non-vintage cuvées and organic wines. The 490-acre vineyard grows predominantly chardonnay and pinot noir grapes. Its flagships, made only in exceptional years, are Fleur de Champagne and Femme de Champagne, both of which feature in the dinner.
