Appointment of Sven Fitjer as General Manager of The Stones – Legian, Bali

BADUNG, Indonesia - Sept. 16, 2019 - PRLog -- Not a stranger to Marriott International and Bali, Sven is excited to join the hotel and to return to the island of the Gods. In his previous assignment at the Hermitage Jakarta, under Marriott's Tribute Portfolio brand, Sven successfully positioned the hotel in the market achieving strong revenue performance improvements.  He is known for his inspirational leadership style with a strong focus to deliver personalized service for all guests. Prior to that, Sven managed The Laguna Resort & Spa, A Luxury Collection Hotel.

Sven holds a hospitality degree from the Hotel Management School in Heidelberg, Germany. He started his international career in 2001 in the US, and in the last 26 years he has worked in twelve different hotels, restaurants, and catering companies in locations such as Boston, Hawaii, Sydney, Jakarta, and

Bali and with international hotel companies such as Marriott International including Starwood Legacy,  Four Seasons, Kempinski, and Hilton.

If we do this well then we can look positive in the future and will be well positioned in the growing hotel market of Bali" said Sven when being asked about his vision to the hotel.

During his free time, Sven enjoys spending time with his family and is also passionate about golf. He is married to Amanda and they have two young girls, Ellie Amelia and Kaia Malia, who both happened to be born in Bali. Bali has also seen their engagement and wedding ceremony and is the place they call home by now.
