Cancer Survivor and Recording Artist Releases New R&B Single, "Take Me I'm Yours"

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. - Sept. 14, 2019 - PRLog -- On a mission to inspire and encourage woman who are battling life-threatening illnesses to not give up on love, R&B and soul singer, Linda Washington, recently released a new, sultry single titled Take Me I'm Yours.

"This song is about believing and finding love again. We are all worthy of love. No matter what challenges we face. Cancer is the disease, not them," stressed Washington.

The ballad is inspired by Washington's journey to find true love again after being told she wasn't worthy because of the physical scars from her treatment for breast cancer. A true fighter, Washington persevered and wrote this song to help other cancer survivors find their way to love again.

"When I wanted to start dating again, I was physically, mentally and verbally abused. I was told I needed to get used to being treated like that because I wasn't a real woman anymore. After hearing that, I gave up on dating for ten years because that hurt my spirit," stated Washington.

However, Washington is not a quitter. Through her recovery, she found her way back to loving herself, which in turn led her to a truly loving relationship with someone who could see her for who she is and not simply her scars or cancer. She wrote Take Me I'm Yours to share hope with other cancer survivors who might feel like giving up on love.

"I don't want anyone else to miss out on finding and believing in love again because everyone deserves to be loved. You are beautiful inside and out and don't let anyone ever take that from you or tell you otherwise," stressed Washington.
