The State of the Oregon Real Estate Market and Sundance Realty: August 2019
A release covering the state of the firm, the Oregon Market, top producing agents, published articles of the month, and important information or actions for Sundance Realty agents.
By: SUNDANCE REALTY
In August, the Oregon Real Estate Agency requested draft updates to the LARRC and have already closed that request as of September 3rd. The Real Estate Board will be meeting on October 7th during which they will determine whether or not to accept the anticipated changes, discussed in the last Oregon Real Estate News-Journal. Updates to the LARRC include topics on House Bill 2001, which covers the adjustment of single-family homes to multi-family homes depending on city populations, and Senate Bill 608, which prohibits terminating month-to-month tenancy without cause after 12 months of occupancy. Check out the full journal for a greater breakdown, but anticipate the new LARRC to be released starting in 2020.

August 01, 2019
by Mike Longsdon
When a move becomes part of your retirement plans, it can feel like you're letting go of your memories. Moving to a smaller home or even a senior community can open up your life in ways you never expected, but you have to know which steps to take in order to make the downsizing process a positive experience during retirement.
