Hinsdale Humane Society Hosts Oktoberfest Event Saturday, September 28 At 21

HINSDALE, Ill. - Sept. 9, 2019 - PRLog -- Hinsdale Humane Society's (HHS) first Oktoberfest: Prost to the Pets! Fundraising event takes place Saturday, September 28 from 6-10pm at its new facility, the Tuthill Family Pet Rescue & Resource Center (PRRC) located at 21 Salt Creek Lane in Hinsdale.

The evening will be a primarily outdoor, tented celebration of German traditions including live band Die Musikmeisters playing on the front lawn, silent auction, traditional German-style dining, biergarten, wine, a Craft Beer Pull and Cigar bar!

"We're looking forward to hosting our first traditional German festival," said Tom Van Winkle, Executive Director, HHS. "While our team knows how to throw an incredible party, it is all for the animals at the end of the day. We'll have pets available for our guests to meet and visit with, along with a variety of opportunities to help our animals in creative ways."

Tickets are available now at $45 each and the first 100 people registered get an event beer stein. The evening includes German food, the band, activities and a drink ticket. VIP tickets are available for $75 and will include a free Oktoberfest mug, 5 free drink tickets, special German appetizers, a private, tented area and more!

"All funds raised at Oktoberfest will go to help our animals and programs that support our community, including everything from Pet Therapy to Humane Education, Lost Pets, Microchips, Low-Cost Vaccination Clinics and our Behavior Helpline," said Jacki Rossi, Business Development Director, HHS. "It's also going to be a fun night to celebrate with German-inspired food, drinks and music."
