Noted Texas Author to Receive Major Literary Award

AUSTIN, Texas - Sept. 9, 2019 - PRLog -- Texas author and songwriter W. C. Jameson is among the 21 writers to be inducted into the Colorado Authors Hall of Fame on September 14 in a ceremony in Denver. The organization is dedicated to recognizing and preserving the history of the accomplishments of past and present authors who have created and published books in or about Colorado.

A resident of Llano, Texas, Jameson lived in Colorado for six years while pursuing writing projects and engaging in the music scene. Winner of numerous writing awards, including the Indie Reader Book of the Year, Jameson has had over 100 books published, as well as more than 1,500 articles and essays.

In addition, Jameson has recorded ten critically acclaimed CDs of original music, has served as a consultant and narrator on numerous television documentaries, and has appeared on the History Channel, the Travel Channel, the Discovery Channel, PBS, and National Public Radio.

Also inducted alongside Jameson during the Hall of Fame ceremony will be authors Stephen King, Madelyn Albright, Clive Cussler, Margaret Coel, the late Louis L'Amour, and others.
