MANSFIELD, Texas - Sept. 6, 2019 - PRLog -- Seven-year-old rapper Jayden Everitt, aka Young Hi-Way, will kick off Mansfield Music Alley this Saturday, September 7th, when he performs his debut single, "Do My Thang!" The rising young hip-hop star takes the stage at 4 PM at the Farr Best Theatre located at 109 N. Main Street in Downtown Mansfield.

Jayden, who started rapping at the age of five, was inspired by his father, Chianti Everitt, who is also a hip-hop artist. "He saw me writing and performing music all the time," explains Chianti. "That really peaked his curiosity, and one day, he told me that he wanted to do what I was doing. So, we sat down and began working on the lyrics and music for 'Do My Thang!'"   With that, young Jayden was off and running! Watching his son develop a love for music and performing has been a surreal experience for the family. Chianti continues, "It's great working with Jayden to develop rhymes based on things he really enjoys like dinosaurs, cars and his favorite cartoons. He definitely has a lot of input when it comes to the content of each song, and I of course pull it together with the music and flow. We can't wait to see where this path leads!" In addition to his musical talents, Jayden is also a top student who loves math. He is certain to delight kids and parents alike at Mansfield's Music Alley Festival!

Music Alley is a family friendly, fun-filled day of food, arts & crafts and the best fashion and music of the 80s! The Mansfield Music Alley Festival features four stages of live music with over a dozen bands performing throughout the evening and a karaoke stage as well as works by local visual artists, a virtual reality experience and all the favorite video games from the 80s from Galaga to Space Invaders.
