Alter Domus Names Joanne Ferris As New Chief Human Resources Officer
By: Alter Domus
Joanne's career began with twenty years in the banking sector before making the transition to Human Resources. She joins Alter Domus from Babylon Health, a young health-tech organisation with a mission to make healthcare affordable and accessible to the planet. Prior to this, she was the Interim Group HR Director for easyJet, Group Director for People, Culture and Communications at Primark, and Head of Human Resources, Customers and Distribution at Allied Irish Banks. Originally from Australia, Joanne is a graduate from the University of New South Wales and the University of Sydney in Mathematics, Science and Psychology.
Joanne replaces Dimitri Davreux, who is leaving Alter Domus to take on further challenges. Dimitri joined Alter Domus in July 2011 and was a key player in a period of extraordinary growth and success for the company. He will stay on in the short-term to assist Joanne with her transition into the role.
"The vision that Aidan and his team have for Alter Domus is inspiring and captivating. The ambitious objectives the company has to continue its success story presented me with an opportunity that was too good to miss. I am eager to meet the teams around the world and learn more about what makes this great company tick. Alter Domus is entering a new chapter of its history, and I am excited and proud to be a part of it."
Aidan Connolly, Chief Executive Officer said "I am delighted to have Joanne join our team. Her experience, drive and determination are precisely the qualities I value in my management team. I'm eagerly looking forward to her contribution to the next phase of our growth and development. Dimitri is managing the handover to Joanne and his impending departure with the utmost professionalism. I will particularly miss his wise counsel on Alter Domus. I wish him every success for the future."
