SAN FRANCISCO - Sept. 6, 2019 - PRLog -- Vervoe, an AI-powered skills assessment platform, announced the launch of its AI-powered skill test builder. Leading companies, including Kraft Heinz, Kforce and Australia Post, are already using Vervoe's technology to automatically rank applicants based on how they perform job-related tasks. From today all of Vervoe's customers will be able to automatically generate tailored skills assessments in under a minute.

Until now, talent acquisition professionals and hiring managers have had to select a test from Vervoe's library and customize it, or create their own. Both those options take time, and people aren't always sure what a good skills assessment looks like, especially for roles they're not experts in.

"We believe it's important to test people in context because competence is context-dependent. For example, a graphic designer at a major accounting firm is a different job to a graphic designer at a startup. While the fundamental craft is essentially the same, the operating environment is entirely different and success is measured differently." said Omer Molad, Vervoe Co-Founder and CEO.

"We wanted to give our customers a way to automatically assemble the perfect skills assessment for every situation, instantly. Instead of asking customers to choose, customize or create their own test, we just ask them to describe their perfect hire." Omer said.

Using NLP Vervoe is able to understand the skills and attributes the recruiter or hiring manager cares about most. Suitable questions and tasks are then automatically selected from a library of nearly 100,000 questions and tasks.

"We already understand which questions are most popular, which ones are most predictive, how long they take to complete, which ones candidates dislike and so on. Everything is optimised for candidate adoption." Vervoe Co-Founder David Weinberg said.

In less than a minute Vervoe can automatically generate a "made to measure" skills assessment. It's unique to the role and company, and it's instantly auto-gradable.

Companies can accept a test "as is" or swap questions in and out. Vervoe's machine learning models will learn from the choices people make and improve the way we assemble tests. Vervoe will also gain insight into the skills and attributes that are in greatest demand and use that data to invest in the right type of content.

"Recruiters and hiring managers are now able to automate skills assessment at any scale, while retaining complete control and flexibility. It's the best of both worlds."  Omer said.
