SpringHill Suites by Marriott to Open Doors in Downtown Montgomery, Alabama

MONTGOMERY, Ala. - Sept. 5, 2019 - PRLog -- Marriott International announced today that the SpringHill Suites by Marriott in downtown Montgomery, Alabama is scheduled to open this Friday, September 6. The 105-suite hotel, located in the old Bishop-Parker building at 152 Coosa Street, will operate as a Marriott franchise, owned and managed by Ascent Hospitality (https://ascent-hospitality.com/) of Buford, Georgia. The historic building was constructed between 1905 and 1907 by Schloss & Kahn Wholesale Grocers, and Bishop-Parker used it as a furniture store and warehouse for two decades.

Located downtown, across the street from Riverwalk Stadium – home of the Montgomery Biscuits, the SpringHill Suites Montgomery Downtown offers guests convenient access to the Legacy Museum, the Hank Williams Museum, the Montgomery Performing Arts Centre, the Alabama State Capitol, and numerous local and historic sites.
