Mississippi Valley State University National Alumni Association Kicks off 30 Day of Giving
Two-Year Giving Campaign for University Restoration & Scholarships
"This first leg is an initiative to raise $100,000.00 for the MVSU General Scholarship Fund," said Charlie Tolliver, National President of MVSUNAA. The total raised will be announced during halftime of Mississippi Valley State University's homecoming this year, and all individuals who donated with be asked to stand as we announce the final total."
The larger goal of MVSUNAA, however, is to raise $2.1 million by 2021 with a focus on restoring the university's athletic scoreboards, the Lois Aron Meditation Chapel and the Devera D. Ball National Alumni House along with providing a robust scholarship fund for current and future students.
