Sean Condon Named President of the Ivex Corporation

Sept. 3, 2019 - PRLog -- Specialized Packaging Group ("SPG"), a North American leader in engineering and protective packaging, announced today the appointment of Mr. Sean Condon as President of the Ivex Corporation, a division of SPG.

Mr. Condon has extensive experience in the North American protective packaging market, having served as Vice President and then Executive Vice President of Sales at Pregis Corporation for more than 20 years.

Mr. Paul Gaulin, SPG's CEO, noted that "Sean's strong leadership abilities will help Ivex  position itself as the best available option on the market, in terms of products and service offerings, to packaging distributors, engineered foam fabricators, building products retailers and system packaging users.

"Our recent expenditures in increasing capacity and encouraging innovation have positioned us for significant growth," Mr. Gaulin continued. "Protective packaging is a strong industry and we intend to further invest in this growing market."

Mr. Condon, who will begin his new role on September 3, 2019, based in Chicago, Illinois, indicated that "there are opportunities, due to recent consolidation in the marketplace, for fabricators and packaging distributors to greatly benefit from a partnership with Ivex. Specialized Packaging Group (SPG) employs 1,100 people in 17 manufacturing operations and one Distribution Center, located in the United States, Canada and Mexico under the names Ivex, Estapack, and Induspac.
