LOS ANGELES - Sept. 3, 2019 - PRLog -- The Long Ryders, who skirted the twangy outskirts of L.A.'s Paisley Underground scene in the '80s and are oft credited as the founders of alt-country, returned in 2019 with Psychedelic Country Soul, their first album in over 30 years. 2019 will see the Long Ryders hit the road with the classic line up of Sid Griffin, Stephen McCarthy, Tom Stevens and Greg Sowders in support of Psychedelic Country Soul and the world will once again know the power of an electric 12-string guitar when matched by a punk energy.

The North American dates this September and October include Louisville, Evanston, Ferndale, Toronto, Cleveland, Philadelphia, Washington D.C., Richmond, Los Angeles and Portland, as well as two NYC-area shows: Brooklyn's Rough Trade on September 17 and Jersey City's WFMU Monty Hall AND an appearance at the legendary Hardly Strictly Bluegrass festival in San Francisco.
