ST. GEORGE, Utah - Sept. 8, 2019 - PRLog -- MC1 Nashville Artist Amy McAllister is over the moon to be headed to Dollywood for the 2019 Josie Music awards where she is up for seven awards.

The Josie Music Awards is one of the largest award shows in the world for independent artists receiving over 23,000 submissions this year.

Last year Amy won the first Josie Music Award ever given for Inspirational Song Of The Year with her hit song "My Angel" and was also given the opportunity to perform it on the main stage during the award show.

"My Angel" penned by Amy herself in memory and honor of her brother Brad, continues to bless the lives of many who have lost loved ones and also win numerous awards.

Amy loves being a part of The Josie Network Of Brands and is grateful for the many connections and doors of opportunity it has opened for her and her music career.  She feels blessed as she continues to be recognized for her talent as a singer and songwriter.  Taken from a fb post on her music page, Amy says, "It feels like the blessings keep pouring in like diamonds from the sky and my heart is bursting with gratitude".

It does seem to be true for this singer-songwriter from St George, Utah who visits Nashville, Tennessee often for music and just signed with record label MC1 Nashville.

In July, Amy was recognized as a Semi Finalist with five stars in the United Kingdom Songwriting Contest for hit songs, "My Angel", "Shoot For The Moon" and "Why Baby Why".  She also received five stars for songs penned with Corey Lee Barker, "Here I Am" and "You Don't Have To Walk On Water".  Both songs are continuing to climb the indie country and christian charts and "Here I Am" was just released through MC1 Nashville to MusicRow and Play MPE.

Most recently, Amy won a Silver Medal in the August 2019 Global Music Awards for "My Angel" and has also been nominated in the 2019 AMG Heritage Awards for Female Vocalist Of The Year, Songwriter Of The Year, Song Of The Year with "My Angel" and Album Of The Year with "Here I Am".  Her fifth nomination for The 2019 AMG Awards is with The McAllisters (Amy and her daughters, McKenzi, Megan and Maycee) for Song Of The Year with "Let Freedom Rock".
