Follow on Google News | Week 2 Wrap-Up - All City Classic 302 Legends Basketball LeagueBy: All-City Classic 302 Legends Game 1: Hall Law (56) def Noble Nine (48) Hall Law looked scary and may go undefeated. Tone Washam was too much to handle with 22pts, 8rbs. Cooley chipped in 14 points. NN lost by 7pts & looked nervous. Kwana Chase led NN with 12pts. Game 2: BEST Squad (59) def Hard Work (53) Hard Work looked strong in the 1st half. 3rd quarter was low scoring for both teams, but the 4th is where BEST got into rhythm. New York and Howard Gibson turned it up on offense. Tough defense from Mike Savage and El Savage forced turnovers resulting in easy buckets. Vic contributed 6pts, 5rebs . Andre Woodley led HW with 17pts, 9rebs. Hard Work might go winless this season. BEST Squad looked much better than Week 1. Game 3: DSW (78) def PGL (62) Playground Legends lost as predicted. Their defense couldn't get any worse. Darrel Lewis, Player of the Game, hit 25pts, 5assts; Nobody guarded Tail Davis, who hit for 24pts; AK scored 18pts 5rebs. Caheem Broadus led PGL with 18pts. PGL has to do better. But this was predicted to happen. Game 4: Drunk Monkey (44) def CDK (41) Drunk Monkey is unbelievably 2-0 after sticking it to a fiesty CDK in OT. Jake Royal earned Player of the Game for 2nd week straight with 16pts. Fuzz was out with an injury for CDK & Steve Lee was out for Drunk Monkey, so the matchups were even. Jake's jumper is outrageous when he gets hot. Teams pay significantly during his spurts. Everyone had CDK winning in the early prediction polls last week, but they let the fans down. Game 5: Chester (54) def Free Agents (35) RIP to Free Agents this season with a 0-2 record. They had no fight whatsoever in Game 2 with a pitiful effort. Daryl Sanders (aka Thanos) carried the unit with 11pts, 9rbs, 3assts, 3stls & a blk. Ray Strickland and Kenny Tate made their debuts, and their presence sucked the life out of the opposition. Lacy led Free Agents 12pts, 5rebs. Chester looks ready to dethrone DSW when they meet up next month. Game 6: Tigers (41) def Clay City (37) Tigers made their debut, pulling out the win in overtime. Clay City were predicted to spank the Tigers but it didn't happen. TJ Tate led the Tigers with 15pts and Eric Cotton was effective with 7pts, 1asst, 1blk & 6rebs. Marquis Lopez led CC with 12pts, 1asst, 1blk & 11rebs. Tigers are not a team to be underestimated going forward. Visit All-City Classic 302 at http://allcityclassic302.com End
