Transforming Property Solutions Hires New Employee

SANFORD, Fla. - Aug. 27, 2019 - PRLog -- For the past few years, Transforming Property Solutions has participated in the ePathways Internship program for Seminole County Public School juniors and seniors. This program gives students the chance to gain valuable experience and make connections in an industry they may be debating about pursuing in the future.

Through an online course, potential interns completed different activities and quizzes to prepare them to go into the workplace. The course had students take a Career Interest Survey to identify which skills and strengths they had would be helpful in certain careers, and also prepared students for interviews by drafting an elevator speech and making a resume. Throughout a student's internship, SCPS facilitators would also keep track of a student's progress to make sure they get the best experience out of their internship.

In the spring, TPS joined many other businesses at an internship expo to hire an intern for the 2019 summer to work 133 hours. Through the process of evaluating resumes and performing phone and in-person interviews, TPS hired a rising senior from Seminole High School to work a summer internship.

"I was very excited when Transforming Property Solutions told me they had selected me to be their intern! I believed past experiences that I had through working on my school's Yearbook staff would help me with this internship, and I was looking forward to learning more about the real estate industry and promoting their business," the intern said.

While the internship ended early August, the TPS team decided to offer a part-time job to the intern, which was accepted. "Working at Transforming Property Solutions has given me exposure to a career I've been debating, which is marketing and communications," the intern explained. "Throughout the summer I've gotten to enhance my writing skills which I feel will prepare me for college, and also my graphic design skills. I've loved the work I've been doing so far, and can't wait to learn more in the future!"
