-- CAG K9 announced today that they are now providing United States Police Canine Association nationally certified K9 teams in Georgia to help prevent school shootings. Their highly trained and specialized K9s are trained to locate guns in schools to help prevent school shootings, while working in partnership with law enforcement. CAG K9s can detect guns and powder based weapons and amunition providing a proactive plan to protect against school violence.
"With the nationwide increase in school shootings, agencies are searching for additional ways to keep our school children safe. Using our K9s is the most effective method for proactively detecting weapons since they are not stationary like a metal detector which can easily be avoided due to facility designs. K9 units are mobile and can detect weapons hidden on people, in bags, lockers, or even in locked vehicles in a parking lot. Simply put, you can not hide the odor of weapons from these specially trained K9s and their mobility keeps them completely unpredictable to criminals. Their very presence serves as a powerful and visual deterant, making it well known that this school is not a soft target. Our K9s save lives!", said Rich Adams, President of CAG K9.
Highly trained K9s are used by nearly all local and federal law enforcement agencies across the country, as well as the US Military around the world. K9s have a remarkable capability of smelling everything from narcotics to weapons to bombs, keeping us safe in all aspects of our society. Finally, schools are now recognizing that K9s can also help keep our kids safe by helping to prevent school shootings rather than simply respond to them. http://CAGServices.com
