Psychiatric Drugs Create Violence & Suicide—School Shootings & Other Acts of Senseless Violence

Between the three current shooters, 34 people were killed and 63 wounded or injured.

VANCOUVER, British Columbia - Aug. 24, 2019 - PRLog -- The spate of recent mass shootings has prompted the mental health watchdog, Citizens Commission on Human Rights International (CCHR) to reiterate the urgent need for State and a Federal government investigation into the irrefutable link between psychotropic drugs and violence. The group is making its report, "Psychiatric Drugs Create Violence and Suicide (https://www.cchrint.org/pdfs/violence-report.pdf)," available to legislators which cite 16 studies that show psychotropic drugs create homicidal and suicidal reactions. CCHR has documented at least 78 acts of senseless violence committed over several decades by those taking or withdrawing from psychiatric drugs, leaving a wake of 464 deaths and 926 wounded.

The report cites 27 drug regulatory agency warnings that indicate psychotropic drug adverse effects that include mania, psychosis, hostility, aggression or homicidal ideation and nearly 50 warn of self-harm or suicide/suicidal ideation.[1]

Brian Beaumont, president of the British Columbia chapter of the Citizens Commission on Human rights said, "Guns do not kill people.  People taking or withdrawing from one or another of psychiatry's drugs kill people with guns.  The main stream media should be covering this fact but have chosen not to.  Instead the news outlets go on and on about gun restrictions.

Between the three current shooters, 34 people were killed and 63 wounded or injured. Police found sedative hypnotic pills in one shooter's room in another person's name, questioning whether he was abusing them. Another shooter was a psychology student who once described himself as having several mental disorders and spoke of his "medication".

The common denominator to almost all the recent massacres is one or another of psychiatry's drugs. This solves the mystery of why there were no shooters or almost none before the 1980s, the mass drugging with psychiatry's drugs.

The Citizens Commission on Human Rights is an international psychiatric watchdog group co-founded in 1969 by the Church of Scientology and the late Dr. Thomas Szasz, Professor of Psychiatry Emeritus, to investigate and expose psychiatric violations of human rights.
