The District of Columbia Small Business Development Center (DCSBDC) Partners with AtWork Systems
Strategic Partnership Provides Technology, Infrastructure and Business Process Support to Small Businesses
Through this partnership, the DCSBDC and AtWork Systems will create white papers, videos, events/workshops to help small businesses strengthen their infrastructure, leverage technology, implement cybersecurity, and develop seamless business management processes, as they grow.
AtWork Sytems is the creator of OneLynk, a proprietary software system designed to help companies combine their business processes into one cohesive, unifying system. OneLynk was designed for project-based organizations, such as Professional Services providers, Engineering and Construction firms, and other businesses. For Government Contractors, OneLynk is the only system built with government compliance in mind; and that streamlines back office tasks.
The DCSBDC provides clients with support from start-up and sustainability, through national and international growth. This collaboration will help companies achieve greater operational effectiveness, more seamless business processes, and higher profitability.
Ron Lewis, CEO & Founder of AtWorks Systems, brings more than 20 years of executive experience in operations, IT and software development. He pioneered software solutions for Serco's enterprise network, data center and service desk; and developed business initiatives and strategies for capturing major contract vehicles in the areas of IT consulting for Booz, Allen and Hamilton. Carl Brown, State/Executive Director of the DCSBDC leads the DCSBDC and brings more than 25 years' experience as a Small Business Industry Executive, developing small businesses. About the DCSBDC: The DCSBDC program is a 30-year, public/private partnership with the U.S. Small Business Administration, and Howard University. From 2013 to 2017 in the District of Columbia alone, the DCSBDC has serviced close to 1600 clients, created 2,188 jobs, and helped its clients received $20,935,089 in loans (http://www.dcsbdc.org).
