First Truly Affordable 3D Printable Prosthetic Arm Kits, K+ Launches on Indiegogo

K+ hopes to participate in the development of the most affordable 3D printable Prosthetic Arm kits.
BRONX, N.Y. - Aug. 19, 2019 - PRLog -- Today K+ launches on crowd-funding site Indiegogo. With the Introduction of a bionic hand kit and a muscle controlled prosthetic arm kit, K+ hopes to make a big impact in 3d printing, robotics and prosthetics. The Kits are the first truly Affordable Prosthetic arms designed to be very practical.

Prosthetics are artificial devices designed to replace a lost body part, for example a hand or a leg, which may be lost in an accident, trauma, disease or birth defect. There are several types of prosthetics such as aesthetic, which is meant to look like lost limb but not providing any functionality. With 3D printed prosthetics gaining popularity with the introduction of consumer level 3D printers, practical applications of these prosthetics have also been increasing.

The first kit is a Bionic hand, It consists of 5 micro servos, joints and one hand base. The special mechanical structure makes every finger can be controlled separately, all can move in certain range. And every finger has spring damping structure, it will protect the robotic hand from the mechanical stress effectively.

The second kit features a myoware muscle sensor that allows the arm to be controlled by a user using their muscle. When the muscle contracts, it send the signal to the arm which then curls. When there is no muscle contraction, the arm relaxes back to its original position.

By supporting this campaign you are allowing K+ to participate in the development of the most practical and affordable prosthetics suited for tough/tropical climate.
