AFEA Expands by Adding Chapter in Sioux Falls, NY

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. - Aug. 15, 2019 - PRLog -- The American Financial Education Alliance (AFEA) is dedicated to providing financial education and increasing financial literacy within communities all over the country. Today, the Board of Directors has chosen to continue to do just that, by unanimously voting Laura Blankenship as the new Chapter President of AFEA's Sioux Falls, SD  #4697 chapter.

Laura completed her undergraduate work at Augustana University in Sioux Falls, SD. She attended law school at the University of St. Thomas School of Law in Minneapolis, MN on a full-tuition academic scholarship. Laura joined Verley Financial in 2008, after spending several years practicing as an estate planning attorney. Laura's legal background and experiences provide her clients with a unique perspective as a financial advisor. Her other professional credentials include Series 7 and 66 securities registrations, as well as life, health, and annuities licenses.

Laura is the immediate past president of the Sioux Falls Estate Planning Council and serves on the Canton Lutheran Church endowment committee. She is a past Lincoln County 4-H leader. She loves the outdoors and spending time with her family. She lives on an acreage with her husband, Steve, and son, Gavin, along with horses, donkeys, chickens, a dog and a cat.
