ClearCaptions, LLC, Joins the OurSeniors.net Family

ORMOND BEACH, Fla. - Aug. 14, 2019 - PRLog -- OurSeniors.net is very happy to announce the association of a new partner in our family of senior-centered businesses and service organizations. The ClearCaptions organization is a natural fit for OurSeniors.net. This fine business helps meet one of the great challenges faced by many seniors: hearing loss.

Hearing loss affects 48 million Americans and seniors are the age group most affected. ClearCaptions provides captioned text of phone conversations for people who could not otherwise use the telephone. This new OurSeniors Partner is a Federal Communications Commission (FCC)-certified caption provider, offering an entire suite of communication services that enable persons with diminished hearing to carry on a telephone conversation. The ClearCaptions service is available on a variety of platforms, including PCs, mobile devices, tablets and home phones.

ClearCaptions offers this service completely free of charge to the user. The landline home phone with viewing screen, the apps and software for smart phones and mobile devices, and the text captioning service itself, are all paid for through the Americans with Disabilities Act. A ClearCaptions representative will install the home phone and teach the recipient how to use it. The apps and software for mobile devices are also free and ClearCaptions support experts will answer any questions from setting up an account to troubleshooting service issues.
