Following healing from CBD oil, branding expert on mission remove stigma from marijuana

LARGO, Md. - Aug. 12, 2019 - PRLog -- A new marketing agency has set its sights on helping startups in the growing U.S. and Canadian marijuana industry build their brands.

710 Squared, AKA 710², works with cannabis businesses in the Washington, D.C. area and throughout the United States by developing and implementing brand strategies, creating custom content and user experiences, expanding a cannabis company's influence and building brand awareness with the goal of generating and increasing bottom line growth.

The company was founded by Llauris Rener, who serves as creative director and strategist for 710². Once opposed to marijuana as a "malevolent blemish on decent society," Rener's eyes were opened to the virtue of cannabis when he started suffering from chronic illness.

As a final, desperate measure to deal with his sickness, he decided to try cannabidiol, or CBD oil. CBD is known to alleviate the symptoms of a wide range of health conditions.

"It changed my life profoundly and changed my views forever," Renner said.

From that point forward, he vowed to commit his expertise in branding to removing the stigma associated with marijuana.

"I vowed to use my many years of branding expertise forged in the 'square world' to erase the stigma and further the cannabis industry," Rener said.

Rener, known by many as "The Branding Guy," is an expert marketing consultant and strategist who has lectured coast to coast on the rudiments of branding, visual vocabulary, viral video marketing, sales and user experience design.

One of the biggest issues faced by cannabis companies is the ever-changing laws around marijuana marketing and sales, which vary from one state to the next.
To educate growing cannabis businesses on the latest legal changes and news relevant to the legal pot industry, the team at 710² has launched a YouTube podcast called "Square Talk," through which they discuss the business of cannabis.
