(FORT MYERS, Fla.) – Ilkay Turk, a national designer for a woman-owned business is sharing her talents with her own line of high-end accessories called Turk & Turk.

        She says by adding a beautiful silk scarf or one of her handcrafted leather bags it's like the artist's last touch of painting.

        "Every customer is a jewel and my pieces finish off every outfit," she said. "My goal is to compliment your look with a scarf and handbag. Giving you the feeling of a beautifully framed

picture."

        Turk & Turk is multi-line and often one-of-a-kind with limited editions. Turk's scarfs are oblong, square, maxi-twilly and twilly tie scarf for handbags, neckties and shoe accessories. The scarfs are made of silk, cashmere and wool-blend fabrics.

        "I hand sketch each design, then use paint to bring it to life," she said. "Once it is

finished, I upload the design into my computer and use a CAD computer software program to tweak the design."

        After that, the designs are sent to Italy for fabrication. Her designs are influenced by cultural and social attitudes. She said many inspirations come from nature, photographs, and chapel ceilings.

        "I have clients who prefer the Old Master's Collection design and others who love the colorful and bright floral pieces and Florida inspired art. Everyone has their own taste," Turk said. "When clients wear a scarf or bag, I want them to feel special."

        Every scarf has more than one application. It can be worn as a shawl, top, and dress.

        Her handbags pay special attention to detail. They are an elegant tote shape and adorned with logo-embossed hardware. Each bag is made with high-end pebble leather in black and white with two sizes. The inside is done in suede and comes with a separate pull-out mini bag that can be removed.She also offers a laser cut clutch made of vegan leather.

        "Customers can customize their white handbags with hand-painted art," she said. "We have not seen other companies do hand painting on leather, so this makes your bag truly one-of-a-kind."

Her packaging is totally high-end from the tissue to the box every item is delivered in. Every customer receives a hand-painted thank you note from Ilkay.

        The company works with professional stylists who have a history of fashion and a high level of expertise in the current fashion market to help coordinate the accessories to your wardrobe.
