Sharifah Hardie Announces Candidacy for City Council for the 6th District in Long Beach, CA

LONG BEACH, Calif. - Aug. 6, 2019 - PRLog -- The race for city council for the 6th District in Long Beach, CA added another formidable contender Monday when business consultant Sharifah Hardie announced she has begun accepting contributions.

Sharifah Hardie, also known as Ask Sharifah, is looking to make an entry into local politics. She announced over the weekend that she's running for the 6^th district seat on the Long Beach City Council.

"I have so much love for my city. I want to help make changes now for a better tomorrow. I want to be the change that I want to see in Long Beach. "The city really wants a change and we have the possibility of getting some wonderful individuals onto our council to move forward an agenda that is really going to bring a lot of good to our city, get it ready for the growth and make it liveable, sustainable and full of opportunities," she said.
