On August 23rd 2019 8pm, Minority Reportz in association with Desi.NYC brings Desi Girls Independence Night Out Comedy Show and After Party with the legendary Dj Rekha, in the heart of New York City at The Cutting Room in Chelsea to celebrate India and Pakistan Independence day by showcasing laughter through diversity from some of NY and LA's leading South Asian female comedians. Presented by Mona Shaikh (Tru TV's LaffMobb, The Young Turks), and hosted by Zubi Ahmed and Pooja Reddy (Kuttigang), the show highlights comedic, multi-cultural points of view by Shazia Mirza (BBC, Edinburgh Festival), Ayanna Dookie (Laffoholics) WHO: Shazia Mirza, Mona Shaikh, Ayanna Dookie, Nadia Iqbal, Pooja Reddy, Zubi Ahmed, Karmen Naidoo, DJ Rekha.
